Give a five year old some balloons and watch ‘em run! I had a hard time getting her to slow down for these pictures!
This is a top that I made for miss J. I have actually had it cut out since the beginning of December but just got around to sewing it up the middle of January.
Truth be told, I have a lot of little projects like that. Sitting there. Ready to be put together. I was happy to get this one marked off of my list though. I had bought this fabric from Walmart last year. It was a bolt with five yards on it for only $5. A good deal for a geometric knit fabric if you ask me.
I’m loving the star trend that has been going on so I stamped some gold stars randomly on the fabric.
We hadn’t done a fun shoot like this for a while, so we went to the party store and got some balloons and of course picked up a few other things I had no idea I needed until I saw them
I’m still a little in awe that it is already February. I have some Valentines projects that I hope to accomplish and share. It’s actually one of my favorite holidays and I usually do the most fun things for it because there isn’t a ton of other preparation going on for it like at bigger holidays. And I love love. Not sappy romantic love necessarily (even though I like that too), but just love in general.
