The Dress Up Skirt Tutorial

July 6, 2010 by Jessica 13 Comments

Hi everyone 🙂 I missed Dress Up Monday this week, but I think this will make up for it.

Samster Mommy Tutu Drive

Natasha at Samster Mommy is hosting a Tutu Drive right now and I was blessed to be able to participate with a tutorial.

The Dress Up Skirt Tutorial

I am sharing how to make these dress up skirts for you to make for your little or to donate to the Tutu Drive.

There are also other tutu tutorials already up on her blog and some more guest tutorials are on there way.

Pretty trimmed layers

I had so much fun making these. I love how girly and fun they turned out and my daughter is so excited to send these to other little girls who more than deserve some fun dress up clothes.

Thank you, thank you for this tutorial. I have been lost in tulle while trying to finish a tutu for a friend’s daughter. You helped me wrap my little project up in a couple of hours!

Let me know what you think…

I ADORE this skirt! I bought materials today to make (hopefully) 4 of them! One for my baby girl, one for the tutu drive, and 2 for friends’ daughters 🙂

    THANK YOU!!!

Celebrated my mom last week and asked her if she w Celebrated my mom last week and asked her if she wanted a cake. She decided on a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting 😋 Then to decorate it, I used some of her favorite things: butterflies (made from paper glued to wire so they could “fly”), butterfly bush stems (one of her favorite plants), and purple candles (her favorite color). She does so much for others it’s always a blessing to be able to do something for her 💜 🦋🌿
