In the Spotlight

Only two more days and we will be in our new house! I can’t wait! In the meantime, here are some pics of what you all have made using Happy Together Tutorials/Patterns. Enjoy :)

There is a new blogger in town and I think you all will really like her! Her name is Nina of Pretty Little Projects. She just started getting into sewing and did a Mod Sailor Dress and a Ruffle Dress for her daughter.

I just love the rhinestone additions that Heather did to her nursery rhyme onesies!

Pretty pink party invitations inspired by the baby shower ones. From Viviana via Facebook.

A pretty little dress…military bias dress gone owls by Hannah via Facebook. It makes me want do do this dress in different fabrics for my daughter now.

Anneke had embroidered this flower motif and went looking for something to do with it. She found the sweetheart pincushion and used her piece in the heart part. Perfect :)

In The Spotlight

It’s about time I did a spotlight post, don’t you think? Let’s see some of the pretty things you all have been making using Happy Together Tutorials.

Remember the Rag Bag? Look how cute this one is by Terri at Felting Lessons. Have you all seen the new purse on the Anthropologie website that has the fabric scraps but they are shorter? That would be cute to do as well.

Sunshine Mama created these bracelets using the hoop earring tutorial. She also did a bracelet with pleated fabric which is super cute! She shares her tutorial on how to do that here.

A super cute t-shirt dress by Lille Mor. I just adore stripes. Tutorial used here.

Happy Easter! (or as we say, Happy Resurrection Day :). We had a wonderful day together as a family. Church was amazing, the little one took a great nap, and we shared a yummy meal. Hope you had a great day too! I’ve been super busy and I can’t wait to show you what it all is! Here are a few of your creations for inspiration:

From Tallberg Goes Int. She took the sweetheart pincushion to a whole new level of cuteness and made it into a little zippered pouch.

Anyone else been busy lately? We sure have. I don’t think we’ve had so many in a row social events in the past few days as we have had in a long time. Whew! I think tomorrow will be a laid back day. It’s suppose to be highs in the 60’s, so maybe I’ll take the little one to the beach.

I just wanted to share a few awesome creations that you all have done.

Here is one more shirt from Corey that she made with my newest pattern. Isn’t her daughter just adorable?
