Kidswear: All Vintage Dress

I had mentioned in an earlier post about these fabrics that I had picked out to make outfits for my girls. This is the one I made for miss J.

Hers ended up being made of all vintage fabrics. The main part of the dress is a vintage sheet and the front and straps are from a handmade vintage apron I thrifted. It worked out perfectly! I even added some vintage lace to the front neckline.

I love the cross stitch that was on the apron. Whoever made it did a really great job. I’m happy to give it new life!

I used my As You Like It dress pattern. I just made the back top piece wider on the sides to help it grow with her longer. I made her a size 5. When I first created the pattern she was a 2. She’s grown so much! The cute little bow is one I bought from With Lavender and Lace in Norfolk,VA. Miss E’s will be up soon :)
Have a good one!

    Thanks everyone!

Rich-Allana Seymour – I’m not sure why it won’t let you. Maybe try using a different browser? It might have just been having a “hiccup” in the system. I know that happens to me sometimes.
