Just a quick little post on this apron I made for my mother-in-law. Last week had a lesser known day of celebration in it: Nurses Day. My mother-in-law is a nurse, and a really good one at that, and had told me of the need to have some sort of apron to wear while working. She suggested a good sturdy material that is washable and with plastic lining so it would be easily wiped if needed. And, of course, lots of pockets. I put this together for her and sent it with her Mother’s Day gift.

The final measurements : 20 inches wide, 10 inches tall at the tallest, with the smaller pocket being 5 inches high. I didn’t like the type of plastic I picked out (it was flimsier than I thought), so I would recommend a stronger type if ever making an apron with lining.

Looks great! I plan to make one out of scrub fabric so I can wash it with my uniforms. Glad you posted the dimensions!
