Our Week

April 24, 2012 by Jessica 5 Comments

I have been trying to document the little things in life a little more with instagram this past week. We have been getting more into a routine and baby is settling in so much better. She finally started eating her solids again. She went on a food strike when we moved :/ So, here are some snapshots from our week:

I have wanted to get more plants for inside the house and found this cute little dessert tray to plant some succulents in. It’s now on our kitchen table.
I’ve still been doing the “new recipe a week” goal I set at the beginning of the year. Although it’s usually more than one new one I try out. We gave these ham and cheese sliders a chance,

as well as these thai chicken enchiladas. Both were a hit! Especially the enchiladas. Yum!

Mr. Fediw went back to work, so me and the girls have a lot of play time during the day in between chores and all. They are keeping me pretty busy ๐Ÿ˜€

I also went out and found some thrift stores. I found these awesome vintage sun glasses for $.50

and found some pretty vintage flowers. I’m thinking of making some hair accessories with these.

I’m keeping Miss J busy with little craft kits. She loves loves loves art!

We spent a rainy Saturday morning together at Starbucks with warm drinks and yummy treats.

I started a triangle baby quilt for a friend who’s expecting.

And I realized how much my Miss J has grown. I can’t believe she’s starting kindergarten in the fall! The lunar bow frock I made her is now a shirt she’s so much taller. Now I’m off to spend the day with the girls and maybe have enough energy to finish up that baby quilt tonight after they are put to bed. Have a lovely day everyone! -Jess

So glad you all are settling in and baby girl is back to eating solids. Moving can be tough. Looks like that baby quilt is going to be adorable. As always, I enjoy reading your posts. Take care.

The enchilada looks delish! I think I’ll have to add it to my list of things to try.
Hope you get the quilt top done. ๐Ÿ™‚
