3. Hot Glue Gun
4. Needle and Coordinating Thread
5. Jump Rings (I only used two)
6. Spray Starch
7. Iron
A. Take your scrap fabric and cut rectangular pieces. I just played around with the sizes. The longer it is, the more folds it will have. The taller it is, the bigger the pinwheel will be.

Hot Glue together where they overlap.

Very cute!
Those are cute. Do you think you could do them with different fabric if you FrayBonded it?
This is adorable! Great idea and so much fun.
“Do you think you could do them with different fabric if you FrayBonded it?”
I don’t see why not. I wouldn’t even worry about using fray check or anything unless I planned on wearing it a lot. Just remember to use the starch to help it keep it’s form.
This is adorable and SO fun! I’ll have to try it.
ooh! This is cute! I was wondering how you were going to connecting them all together – surprise! ๐
What a lovely tutorial! Thank you very much for the idea ๐ Gotta try it soon! ❤

looking fabulous!! i love all the colors together, too :]
Another idea.
Cut different size circles. Sew gathering stitches by hand around outside edge. When completing the circle pull on thread tightly. will form a puffy finished edge button shaped circle , with all gathers in the back , then back stitch to hold gathers tight. I used this 55 years ago to make cushion tops. To dress it up use shinny or sparkle material, Your I idea is great. PM
Going to make these for gifts….my best friend and sister in law will love them…thank you
I own a baby business on fb and about to start on etsy , I’m going to try this on a hairbow
