Happy New Year everyone! I’m trying to get back into the swing of things over here. I took some time off to enjoy some family that came and visited and to just focus on taking of the girls because my hubby was out of town for a month for some work training. We weren’t able to pull off Christmas pictures as a family, but I did try to get some pics of the girls. They were less than cooperative, but who could blame them? We were in a beautiful state park on a gorgeous day and the deer were out! I will just let the pics speak for themselves for this post 😉 I’m happy to be back and ready to share crafty things! I’m hoping to make some good changes over on this little space this year as long as time allows.

Crazy right? Unfortunately, people feed them all the time at this state park so they come close if they think you have food. Someone had been feeding some and this one wondered closer to us. I made sure she was very still and my parents were just outside of the frame as well in case the deer did something.

Thank you so much 🙂 It’s kind of like you are at a petting zoo, except they won’t let you pet them lol. People feed them all the time so they will come very close, especially if you don’t make any quick moves. We were still very careful though and I wouldn’t let her even try to touch it.
The close up of the little one is so precious. They are all SO cute! Love the little fawn… adds the perfect touch.
🙂 We were blessed to have it come so close! It thought she had food 😉 They are fed a lot (unfortunately) by people who visit the state park so they will come eat from your hand.
