Christmas Pictures at the Park

Christmas Pictures

Happy New Year everyone!  I’m trying to get back into the swing of things over here. I took some time off to enjoy some family that came and visited and to just focus on taking of the girls because my hubby was out of town for a month for some work training. We weren’t able to pull off Christmas pictures as a family, but I did try to get some pics of the girls. They were less than cooperative, but who could blame them? We were in a beautiful state park on a gorgeous day and the deer were out! I will just let the pics speak for themselves for this post ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’m happy to be back and ready to share crafty things! I’m hoping to make some good changes over on this little space this year as long as time allows.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I do plan on getting these printed! It was surreal to have the opportunity like that with the deer.

Crazy right? Unfortunately, people feed them all the time at this state park so they come close if they think you have food. Someone had been feeding some and this one wondered closer to us. I made sure she was very still and my parents were just outside of the frame as well in case the deer did something.

Stunning photos! I can’t believe those deer acted so tame. Hope you had a merry Christmas.

Thank you so much ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s kind of like you are at a petting zoo, except they won’t let you pet them lol. People feed them all the time so they will come very close, especially if you don’t make any quick moves. We were still very careful though and I wouldn’t let her even try to touch it.

๐Ÿ™‚ We were blessed to have it come so close! It thought she had food ๐Ÿ˜‰ They are fed a lot (unfortunately) by people who visit the state park so they will come eat from your hand.

Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚ I actually got it from JC Penney in December. It was on the clearance rack for $4.99! I scooped up a few other cute dresses there as well. The maker was “Joe Fresh”

I have this idea for Valentines decor on our mantl I have this idea for Valentines decor on our mantle and these fun confetti hearts I made are going to be a part of it. You can find a tutorial to make your own from @amanda_evanston . A few of the items I used in mine were: shredded Anthropologie shopping bag (and cut up the fabric handle too), cut up newspaper, hole punched card stock, fringe from yarn, cut up gold circle confetti, crinkled gift filler paper, etc... It was fun using all kinds of random things ๐Ÿ˜Š
