Things are happening over here at the Fediw household. I plan to fill you all in soon on everything, but we are busy cleaning up our house and purging in preparation for a soon coming move.
But, one thing that will always happen (if I can help it), is taking pictures of my family! This is my oldest daughter wearing an a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e vintage inspired smock from Darling Sparrow.
They sent it on over for her and it’s so perfect! I just love vintage style and my girl is so into baking and art, this is perfect for her when she does those things.
Their attention to detail is superb. And can I say, the little bag it comes in is really cute too. In fact, once this arrived, she kept asking if she could have the bag!
The dress is one I made a while back (with a tutorial!), the headband is from this post, and the skinny jeans are from Target.
Thank you Darling Sparrow for the lovely addition to my daughters wardrobe!
how cute!!! have a great weekend ๐
These pictures are simply stunning!
Great photos, lovely colors!
Gorgeous! I think they should do adult sized ones…
Isn’t it fun baking with kids? Both of my boys love it! ๐
Oh this is very sweet!
Did you make the textiles that you have hanging by clothespins? They are lovely.

Thank you everyone!
Jeanne,
Those all came from World Market. They have really pretty and very affordable kitchen towels/napkins/etc. I had bought these with plans of turning them into dresses ๐
Terrific smock. And super cute dress too!
Adorable pictures. Beautifully styled. I love her headband.
Hi,
I really love your daughter’s hair and headband!
Can you please tell me about the headband?
Thank you!
Beth
Hi Beth :),
It is made up of cut up pieces of a knit shirt. I simply cut strips with the stretch of the fabric going horizontally so it stretches on the head and sewed them together to create the headband. When you pull on the knit fabric it sort of causes it to curl some, after cut, to create that look.
