If you’ve been keeping up, you know my brother’s wedding was last weekend. I’m going to split it up into a few posts, beginning with my daughter. I made her outfit for her. She was the one and only flower girl, and she did a great job! To get her to go down the aisle, I said, “Go find grandpa” and off she went. She zoomed past all the others in front of her. It was so cute. Anyways, I made it just like they make the tulle skirts (great tutorial here on Grosgrain), but I made the strips longer, since it was a dress. I also just used tulle that you buy on a roll in the wedding section at the craft store. It takes a lot less time to cut. I tied to pieces of ribbon to the front sides so I could tie it around her neck and create a halter. This helped it stay up really good. Then, I glued some flowers onto the very front.

I made flower shoe covers for her too, like the yellow ones posted here. I glued flowers onto a headband to top it all off.
That tutu dress is adorable!
That dress is beautiful (and so is your daughter),
Gorgeous outfit, your daughter is so precious! Thanks for your post, I have to figure out how to work with photos and text…if you ever see anything helpful out there, shoot me a link!
SO incredibly cute! I’m going to keep this (and the yellow outfit/shoes) in mind for Christmas this year for my girls!
