Play Food – Strawberries

August 30, 2008 by Jessica 1 Comment

This Christmas I want to get my little girl a kitchen play set. In the meantime, I’m going to be making play foods to go with it. Here is the first of many to come:

Play food - Strawberries

They were simple to make. I just used some red fleece and green felt I had in my stash. I cut a rectangle out of the red, embroidered with black lines for the seeds, sewed it with right sides facing from corner to corner, trimmed the extra fabric off, sewed the top, then hand stitched on a diamond cut piece of green felt to the top. Viola! Strawberries.
