Amidst all the sickness and business of helping with weddings, I was able to finish this purse for my mom just in time for her birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM :). I love love love how it came out. I was so tempted to keep it for myself. It’s a new pattern I designed and am trying out. To the inside, I added a place to hold a water bottle and a key clip to put keys on so they don’t get lost in it. I used fabric from Heather Bailey’s line Pop Garden and brown corduroy on the outside.

I love it! It is so your mom, too!!
that is beautiful…love the colorful fabric 🙂
I’ve been enjoying reading your blog for the past few hours! You are very talented and it looks like you really like to sew. Me too!!! I had to laugh at your purse posting for you mom because you said EXACTLY what I’ve said on my blog. I make a purse and then I REALLY want to keep it for myself. LOL!
If you get a chance, you’ll have to check out my blog. We have a lot in common, but I don’t have little girls to sew for… just little boys.
