Upcycled Sweater Boots

For the past week, my project was the upcycled sweater boots. I will post a tutorial on how to make these 🙂

I just went to vote and your boots aren’t listed on the SYTYC blog.

Thanks for going to vote for me 🙂 The boots were actually my project from last week’s competition. To make things fair, the SYTYC is anonymous each week until the voting ends. Sorry about any confusion.

I absolutely adore these boots. I have some sweater sleeves from an upcycled scarf project just waiting for the tutorial!

If you don’t mind my asking, did you use leather pieces for the sole? I was thinking about picking some up so I’m ready when the time comes.

“did you use leather pieces for the sole? “

You can, but I just used flip flips for mine and a pair of sandals for my daughters. I’m going to try and get up the tutorial today 🙂

Megan (I’m going to send this to you as well),

“Do you have a ravelry account?”
I do not. I need to look into it. I have seen people talk about it and all.

“Oh and do you know if anyone else has issues with the sytyc blog not loading / shutting down?”
Happens to me all the time! My computers even say it has a virus. I asked Missy about it once, but I never heard back from her about it (it was a rough week for her family with sickness though, so it’s all good). Maybe I’ll ask again? I think it’s because there are a ton of things on there and blogger doesn’t do too hot with very specialized blogs.
