I know that I can make my own patterns, but honestly it is really nice when someone has made it for me already. That is why I gladly accepted to whip up an outfit using some patterns from The Cottage Mama. Lindsey, the creator, has a bunch of cute patterns and I ended up using the Daphne Dress/Top Pattern and the Skip & Play Pants/Capri Pattern.
The patterns are really easy to follow and she shares a ton of little extra additions you can add. If you don’t believe me, go look at the pattern links to see the variety of options and see how everyone else in the pattern tour is creating their outfits on The Cottage Home (her blog).
I like how her patterns go to higher sizes. That means I can make outfits from these patterns for miss E’s big sis as well. She let me get a few pictures of her in her outfit, but I think she was more interested in messing with her shoes. Figures. Who wants to sit still for pictures? I kept the outfit fairly simple and used fabric from the Denise Schmidt line at JoAnn’s (except the pink and the bottom blue/gray fabric were from my stash). I did stitch “I <3 at="" bottom="" br="" can="" down.="" getting="" her="" into="" it="" leg="" looks="" now.="" of="" pants="" s="" see="" shapes="" she="" so="" the="" u="" when="">3>
Below is a list of all the other bloggers making outfits. Check it out for more inspiration. And if you aren’t into printing your own patterns by purchasing them in pdf format, they are available in Paper in the store as well.
Happy sewing!

I love the fabric combo. And oh my your little one is getting so big!
Thank you Alida ๐ I wanted it to be “fall” colors. I’m wishing for cooler weather already! haha
I really love Your fabric choices too! I made these patterns for the tour too,and really enjoyed them.
Yes, the combinations of those fabrics are awesome! I have an idea now on what pattern to be used in one of our school activity. Thanks for this one.
